Sanam Pejuhesh
I bring a deep passion for growth and over 30 years of experience working with children and families in schools, alternative programs, hospitals, and private practice. I hold a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from CIIS.
I have trained with leading experts in Play Therapy and I am a certified Synergetic Play Therapist. Additionally, I am a certified Parenting Coach and am trained in EMDR, using it to help clients build resilience and process trauma. I stay current with the latest research in Play Therapy, neurobiology and child development to provide the best possible care for children and families. In addition to my work as a child therapist and parenting coach, I am the proud founder of Camp Connect-- a social emotional camp program for children.
Outside of my work, I find joy in parenting my daughter, connecting with community and staying active through skiing, running, biking, and yoga. I understand the challenges life can bring and deeply value therapy as a source of support. My practice is grounded in compassion, providing a safe space for clients to explore, heal, and grow.
