I bring a deep passion for growth and over 30 years of experience working with children and families in schools, alternative programs, hospitals, and private practice. I hold a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from CIIS.

I have trained with leading experts in Play Therapy and I am a certified Synergetic Play Therapist. Additionally, I am a certified Parenting Coach and am trained in EMDR, using it to help clients build resilience and process trauma. I stay current with the latest research in Play Therapy, neurobiology and child development to provide the best possible care for children and families. In addition to my work as a child therapist and parenting coach, I am the proud founder of Camp Connect-- a social emotional camp program for children.

Outside of my work, I find joy in parenting my daughter, connecting with community and staying active through skiing, running, biking, and yoga. I understand the challenges life can bring and deeply value therapy as a source of support. My practice is grounded in compassion, providing a safe space for clients to explore, heal, and grow.

I am passionate about helping people recognize their unique gifts and abilities. My approachable, playful style helps children build confidence, autonomy, and creative expression.

In these challenging times, many children are struggling with anxiety. I believe the greatest gift we can offer is a space that fosters self-regulation, safety, and joy.

With experience working in diverse communities—from the Canadian Arctic to Harlem to Boulder—I bring a creative, outside-the-box approach to therapy. I hold a BA in English Literature from CU Boulder and an MA in Clinical Mental Health from Adams State University, with additional training in Play Therapy and the Creative Arts.

I believe in each child’s innate wisdom and am committed to helping them find solutions to feel unstuck, empowered, and at ease in the world.

As a dedicated play therapist with over a decade of experience in early childhood education, I have seen the transformative power of play in storytelling and self-discovery. My approach blends humor, creativity, warmth, and empathy, helping children explore their emotions in a safe and supportive space.

I hold master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University (with a focus on Mindfulness and Transpersonal Psychology) and Environmental Education from Prescott College (with a focus on outdoor play). I integrate nature into therapy, using it as a calming and inspiring backdrop for growth.

As a parent of a neurodivergent child, I understand that every child is unique. I strive to create a welcoming, trusting environment where children feel heard and valued. Committed to ongoing learning, I am currently pursuing certification in Synergetic Play Therapy to deepen my understanding of neurobiology and nervous system regulation.

I look forward to working with you and your child on this journey of healing and discovery.
